On a recent podcast with Hossam Hema, Matt was asked about how people, specifically business leaders adapt to the pace of change.
There’s always someone saying that things are moving faster now then in the past, and while it may be true this time, the standard responses are “stick to the basics,” or “embrace the change.”
Is that about right? It’s a tough question – because the answer is usually both. You have to stay true to what you do, but be aware of changing market conditions. And whatever you do, please for the love of all that is holy, don’t every use the buggy and the whip example.
At least have the comedic chops to laugh about horseless carriages.
